Clery行为

珍妮·克莱里披露的校园安全政策和校园犯罪统计 《bc体育》(the cleery Act)是一部要求联邦机构保护消费者的法律 参与联邦学生经济援助计划的高等教育 披露校园、建筑物或财产上的某些犯罪信息 或由大学控制，并在公共财产内或立即 毗邻校园.

Under the Clery行为 universities must:

  • Collect, classify, and count Clery行为 crime report and statistics.

  • Issue campus alerts: Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications:

校园安全部门

  • A campus police department or a campus security department of an institution (e.g., any member of the TCU Police Department);

报告形式: To report a Clery行为 crime reported to them, CSAs should submit a  Campus Security Authority Incident Reporting Form.

Clery行为 Crimes - Reportable Offenses
《bc体育》要求机构披露四大类犯罪: Criminal Offenses, Hate Crimes, Arrests and Referrals, and VAWA Offenses.

Murder/Nonnegligent Manslaughter: the willful (nonnegligent) killing of one human being by another. 这种冒犯 不包括交通事故死亡、自杀、意外死亡或正当杀人 法律规定的.

Sexual Assault (Sex Offenses)

ARRESTS and REFERRALS for DISCIPLINARY ACTION

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT (VAWA) OFFENSES
It is a requirement of the Clery行为 to report the following VAWA offenses:

  • A current or former spouse or intimate partner of the victim;
